The Ayco Co., L.P., a Goldman Sachs Company, is one of the nation’s leading financial counseling firms. We are looking for a qualified individual to fill a position in our Technology Group, located in our Saratoga Springs office.
This position requires designing, developing, testing, debugging and documenting database applications using Visual Studio, PowerBuilder and SQL Server development tools in a team oriented environment.
Qualifications:
• 4 year degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
• 5 - 7 years of programming experience;
• Proficiency with Power Builder, Visual Studio;
• Knowledge of coding SQL stored procedures;
• Extremely proficient with Microsoft SQL server;
• Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and test database applications including the coding of Microsoft SQL stored procedures;
• Debug, maintain and enhance existing applications;
• Assist in managing large applications and implementation of projects;
• Develop web based intranet applications in an IIS environment;
• Administer SQL servers (backups, scheduled tasks, etc.);
• Assist other programmers when needed;
• Provide support and training to the end users community.
